If you had told me, in the year 2000, as I arrived in Belarus in the dead of winter, that I would still be serving there a quarter-century later, I would have chuckled at your foolishness.
But as you read these words, I’m beginning my 25th year of helping the Belarusian people. (Kristina is starting year # 33; I came late to the game!)
Along the way, countless numbers of caring friends have come alongside us to form New Thing in support of our dedicated “Response of the Heart” team in Minsk.
With your generous support, they're bringing tons of donated humanitarian aid into Belarus, accounting for it scrupulously, and distributing it to people in need all across the country ... plus organizing an array of special projects to meet specific needs.
On behalf of every orphan, every child in the foster system, every child in a shelter, every child with disabilities, every homeless person, every hospital patient, every person in need whose life has been touched by your compassion ... God bless you.
