Loving the wounded

Good morning! Meet Karina!

She’s one of the Children’s Village orphans aging out of the Belarusian system when she graduates this spring.

From her early childhood, she loved dancing. In school, she began studying choreography and figure skating.

But over the years, her heart of compassion has led her, again and again, to care for wounded animals.

This fall, she’s aiming for medical school, hoping to serve someday as a trauma nurse.

We hope to send her off with a Life Starter Kit, tailored to her needs:

Bedding, towels, kitchenware, iron, laptop/mouse/flash drive in a bag, and more.

(Average Kit cost: $642.50. If you’d like to help launch 16 orphans from the Children’s Village in Kobryn, please feel free to donate online here, or mail a check to New Thing, 403 Linebrook Rd., Ipswich MA 01938.)

Thanks for journeying with New Thing!

Much love,

Doug Brendel
