Sometimes, someone gives you a gift and it’s just ... well ... awful.
But once in a while, “awful” can be a true miracle.
Today is one of those “awful miracle” days.
Workers at a shelter for abused and abandoned children, outside of Minsk, urgently needed a vehicle.
They had no way to buy one.
But then one appeared.
It needs repairs. But there’s no way the shelter can afford this, either.
I hope our New Thing family can meet the need.
$1500 is all it will take — for work that would cost THOUSANDS in the U.S.
Could you be 1 of 30 friends who give $50 to meet the need?
Or be 1 of 20 who give $75?
Or 1 of 15 who give $100?
Whatever you can give, I thank you in advance.
If you’d like to “see before you buy,” I couldn’t blame you.
Here are some photos, and a very brief video.
(The car runs! You’ll see for yourself — and you’ll hear the chatter and laughter of JOY in the background.)
I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks for journeying with New Thing!
Much love,
Doug Brendel
