No, you didn’t miss Christmas.
In fact, Christmas came again last Sunday, on January 7th, and you didn’t miss it then, either.
In Belarus, Christmas is celebrated in the Orthodox tradition; it happens a week after New Year’s instead of a week before.
And you’re going to see photos of it ... from the Children’s Village orphanage in Kobryn, Belarus.
A place where orphans (and the grown-ups devoting their lives to caring for them) have been feeling your love for a long time.
As soon as the photos arrive, I’ll send them along.
And as always, you can visit NewThing.net anytime you like, to see what you and other friends of New Thing are doing all over Belarus.
Meanwhile, a belated merry Christmas to you!
Thanks for journeying with New Thing!
Much love,
Doug Brendel
