Memories...

Updated: Jan 1

Farewell, 2023.

We all lived it together, but each of us will have unique memories.

Here are some of mine:

  • I’ll remember Christmas in January (on the Orthodox calendar) for the orphans at the Children’s Village.

(And sleeper-sofas!)

  • And for the homeless of Minsk, new bunkbeds and bedding. Good food. Underwear. Precious toilet paper!

  • A year’s worth of medicine-cabinet meds and supplies for children with disabilities the boarding school in Osipovichi.

(Also medical equipment, sanitary and hygiene products, building materials and tools, and new parts for the plumbing system.)

  • Life Starter Kits for 14 orphans leaving for college.

  • Brand-new mattresses for families in need.

  • Tons of clothing for the poor.

So many wonderful memories ... compassionate friends, giving what they could, to offer care to people in need in a faraway, often forgotten place.

God bless everyone who has given, or will give.

And thank you for journeying with New Thing.

С Новым Годом!

Happy New Year!

More adventures to come!

Much love,

Doug Brendel

P.S. A longtime friend of New Thing said, “Remind me again before the New Year.”

So this is for her — and for you, if you’d like to make a donation before 2023 ends

Lots of people in Belarus will be grateful!

Thank you again!
