It’s like a miracle! Oleg & Luda, our devoted friends who live year-round in our flat on Karl Marx Street, have arrived for their first-ever visit to America! After more than 20 years of trying to get them here, they were finally granted visas by the State Dept. We picked them up at the Boston airport on Monday night. They’ll be in the country for a few weeks. I’ll keep you posted on their U.S. travel schedule as we work it out. THANK YOU to all who gave so generously to bring them over from Belarus!
