Not exactly a box of “Tide,” but awesome anyway

Just a note to say Thanks for the laundry detergent!

Our “Response of the Heart” team received a large quantity of "стиральный порошок” (say “stir-all-nee poroshok,” for “washing powder”).

Who needed it most? “Large families,” a group designated for aid in Belarus.

I love this moment because the donation came not from another country but from a group inside Belarus.

As more and more people learn about the work of compassion, they want to take part!

It takes a team: 

• Some good soul donated the product. God bless them!

• A registered Belarusian organization had to receive it, account for it, and distribute it. (That was our “Response of the Heart” team.)

• And then there’s YOU.

Support for New Thing from friends like you keeps the team at work every day...

...gathering and sharing aid wherever it’s found, where it’s needed!

So today, it’s detergent. 

Tomorrow, it’s diapers, or medical supplies, or a bed, or a little girl’s doll.

Spasibo bolshoi!
