Getting close...

Sometimes a child needs a Band-Aid for a scraped knee.

Or a baby aspirin for a headache.

No problem. We go to the medicine cabinet.

But for some children, it is a problem.

There’s a boarding school in Belarus, for children with mental and physical disabilities.

They have no budget for the basics.

They need us.

Once a year, friends of New Thing fund the next year’s worth of medications, vitamins, and supplies.

Now is the time.

You can catch up on the campaign here.

A couple of our partners have stepped forward with a $3000 matching challenge.

If friends will give a total of $2000, they’ll kick in $3000 to meet the entire $5000 goal.

In other words, every $1 given will become $2.50, to help meet the everyday needs of children with disabilities.

At the moment, 11 friends have given a total of $1627.50.

So we’re just $372.50 short.

Maybe there are 10 friends who could give $37.25 each.

Maybe you could be 1 of 5 friends to give $74.50.

But even if you’re not able to help right now, thanks for journeying with us!

More adventures to come!

Much love,

Doug Brendel
