At the midpoint of the year, here’s what your generosity has accomplished among the needy ones of Belarus, in the former USSR:
“The Great Kozovaya” and our “Response of the Heart” team have negotiated for and received 8 shipments of donated food and goods weighing a total of 187,928 pounds, with a value of $73,193. (A shipment equals 1 or more truckloads.)
3 shipments came from the U.S.: 85,815 pounds, worth $38,800. 3 came from Germany: 67,298 pounds, worth $10,890. 2 came from Ireland: 34,815 pounds, worth $23,503.
On behalf of the homeless, the poor, the foster families, the mentally and physically disabled, the elderly, the incarcerated, the sick, the orphaned, the abused and abandoned … and especially on behalf of the hundreds of dedicated workers giving their lives to serve them … THANK YOU for journeying with New Thing!
