I’m sorry to report we have a real emergency on our hands in Minsk.
“The Great Kozovaya” found us a wonderful new facility for feeding the homeless and warehousing incoming loads of humanitarian aid.
It’s more than 5,000 square feet — with rent of only $127.16 per month.
But the brutal wintertime temperatures brought a utility bill of $1,195.29.
It’s got to be paid by May 1st, or the property reverts to the authorities.
And there’s a new load of humanitarian aid, nearly 7 tons’ worth from Sweden — clothing, mattresses, beds, furniture, and more — trapped in the building.
It all goes to the state if we don’t pay the utility bill.
I’m sorry to ask with such urgency, but I really your help with this.
Please consider giving a gift to New Thing immediately to help us meet this serious need — and save 7 tons of aid for the poor.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Thank you in advance for your generosity today!
Much love,
Doug Brendel
