Disabled children at Gorodeya, in Belarus, needed 20 new beds.
A cozy new bed, with a nice mattress and a mattress case, costs $94.
I asked the nearly 700 friends of New Thing to help.
The goal: Give every child a beautiful, brand-new bed for Christmas!
18 awesome households stepped forward to meet the need.

you gave an amazing gift … a brand-new bed … to a disabled child in the former USSR!)
