It’s a time of unprecedented events in Belarus, with widespread protests and strikes since last week’s presidential election. We’ve never seen, nor imagined, anything like this in our adopted country. The world finally seems to be watching: On Monday morning, 4 of the top 9 stories on CNN’s World News feed were about the situation in Belarus. New Thing isn’t able to comment on anything political, but we do urge everyone to pray for Belarus. In the meantime, the work of compassion continues.
