The washing machine and...

Doug Brendel

Greetings!

I asked friends of New Thing last week to help provide a new washing machine and a security system for the boarding school for children with gastro-intestinal issues at Porechya in Belarus.

Eleven friends have responded generously. Thank you, all!

But as I write this, we’re still $563.77 short of the $1500 need.

So today I hope I can find 10 friends to give $56.38 each.

I don’t want the workers at Porechya to keep being forced to do the wash by hand for 120 children.

And I don’t want to leave them without an adequate security system.

Director Larisa does everything she can. She’s an expert at soliciting USAID and other groups for help.

But nobody has helped them with a washing machine or a security system.

Could New Thing be the hero here? I hope so.

Please give whatever you can.

If you can’t give $56.38, maybe you could be 1 of 20 friends to give $28.19.

Whatever you’re able to give, I thank you, on behalf of the children and the workers at Porechya.

I’ll keep you posted on our progress.

Thanks for journeying with New Thing!

Much love,

Doug Brendel
