Just a quick update on the mentally disabled children at the boarding school in Bogomol:
I’m grateful for the 8 friends who have given to help us provide new mattresses for 10 children.
We haven’t quite made the goal yet, so if you can help, it will be great.
(A mattress is just $75. If you can give any portion of that, tremendous!)
If we go over the goal, I’ll apply the surplus to the $500 repair of the boarding school's solar panels.

The mentally disabled children at Bogomol — especially the 80 orphans, who can’t go home for weekends or holidays — need our help.
I introduced you to them a little while ago. (Here’s that photo report, if you want to take another look.)
Many of their mattresses are decades old.
When their caregivers say “Good night,” it’s not really gonna be a good night for some of these kids.
Because they're sleeping on very poor beds.
Could friends of New Thing provide brand-new, good-quality mattresses for them?
Not at American prices. It would just be too expensive.
But this is Belarus.
For just $75, we can provide an excellent new mattress for a child at Bogomol.
Would you please consider helping?

If you can give $37.50, I’ll combine your gift with someone else’s to provide one new mattress.
Any gift you can give today, large or small, will help.
They really need mattresses for 20 children who are sleeping on terrible old mattresses.
I told the director, Valery Petrovich, that I would ask friends of New Thing to provide 10 of them.
That’s a total of $750.
I know it’s a lot of money. It’s more than our friends normally give in a month.
But let’s do as much as we can.
I know the children will be grateful.
When it comes time to say “Good night,” it really will be a good night.
