Not pretty, just fabulous

First things first:

I’m delighted to report that 32 households gave generously to provide Life Starter Kits for all 14 of the graduating orphans at the Children’s Village in Kobryn, Belarus.

God bless all who gave, and thanks to all who have journeyed with the orphans on this adventure!

And now, from our hardworking ”Response of the Heart” team this week....

It may not look like much, but a semi-truck arriving from Mogilev, near the Russian border in the east of Belarus, is cause for celebration.

Tons of donated humanitarian aid, off-loaded by volunteers, will be delivered by our “Response of the Heart” team to people in need.

Anatoly and Elena have faithfully overseen the ”Response of the Heart” warehousing process for years.

This delivery included clothing, foodstuffs, nutritional-medical products — even furniture. A family living in poverty may soon have a new table for their meals, for the first time in their lives!

Every donated item, down to the last gram of weight and kopek of value, is scrupulously accounted for.

But for all the manual labor and all the complicated paperwork, the real point is people.

From the moment the truck arrives, we dream of the people whose lives will be bettered because of this work.
