Before Covid, before Ukraine, what feels like a lifetime ago...
Kristina visited the shelter for abused and abandoned children at Zhodino, Belarus.
Along with members of our “Response of the Heart” team, she brought sweet treats and toys.
But these children seemed most fascinated by a tiny globe.
They wanted to see where they lived, and where Kristina lived.
In that moment, the distance between us was only a couple of inches.
And even to this day, in our hearts, we’re only inches away.
Friends like you are right there, in spirit, alongside all the children our team is helping.
You’re saying to children and adults in need, all over that country: “We’re with you.”
