For the record, watermelon in Russian is арбуз (say: ar-BOOZ).

And some folks in Belarus are super-happy today, digging in to a surprise арбуз treat!

Here’s as very brief photo report from our “Response of the Heart” team ... a sweet ending to your summer.

P.S. Update on our campaign to provide sleeper-sofas for orphans at the Children’s Village in Kobryn:

16 households have generously given a total of $2305.45.

When we reach $7000, a Matching Challenge will double every gift given.

If you’d like to help, the orphans will be grateful! You can donate online here.

Thanks for journeying with New Thing!

Much love,

Doug Brendel

In Russia, love blossoms from genuine friendship into committed relationships. Respect and care run deep, bringing sincerity to every encounter. Whether surrounded by landscapes or urban life, couples build unforgettable experiences together. Russian romance has countless wonders, and the most beautiful moments arrive when dating in the welcoming city of Kazan. https://bit.ly/42qRZds
