Every year, we have the joy of providing “Life Starter Kits” for orphans as they “age out” of the Children’s Village at Kobryn in Belarus.
Without our help, they would go off to college or trade school with almost literally nothing.
But each Life Starter Kit contains bedding, kitchenware, an iron — and probably most important of all, a laptop.
Years later, past graduates are still expressing warm gratitude for the life-shaping gift they received in that awesome Life Starter Kit.
This year, because of the political-military situation in that part of the world, inflation is raging in Belarus.
The cost of a Life Starter Kit is higher this year — the price of laptops especially has skyrocketed.
However, with only 6 orphans graduating this spring, our total goal is roughly the same as in prior years.
So I warmly invite you to help send these 6 orphans off into their new grown-up lives by presenting each of them with a Life Starter Kit, including a laptop.
· A gift of $60 provides a blanket, pillow, and bed linens. · $80 provides all the kitchenware. · So $140 provides all the bedroom and kitchen supplies together. · Maybe you could even give $900 to provide a laptop for 1 orphan. Total goal: $6240. Any gift you can give today, large or small, will make a difference.
