It was 10 years ago this week when I received this photo.
The Great Kozovaya, longtime leader of our “Response of the Heart” team, sent it from Belarus.
We had only recently begun working together, and I’d been urging her to send photos to communicate the team’s work.
His smile says it all.
Happy to do his part ... whatever he could ... to help people in need in his country.
Which is how New Thing has always operated.
Everybody does whatever they can.
Friends like you put the box on the truck.
Friends like you enabled our team to get the truck in across the border.
Friends like you made a way to the contents of the box with the people who needed it most.
Since that day, our “Response of the Heart” team has received and distributed more than 2 million tons of humanitarian aid to men, women, and children in need all over Belarus.
