Good news X 3!

3 quick bits of good news!...

1. We made the goal!

We’ll be able to fund 2 pieces of medical equipment sorely needed for the care of children at the Novolukomol hospital.

21 households gave gifts.

(2 especially lovely friends gave twice — and I was humbled and amazed that 4 gifts came from people who are already giving faithfully every month.)

Thank you to all who responded so graciously to this need, this opportunity for compassion!

2. The work goes on!

Here’s a very brief photo report of our intrepid friends in Belarus off-loading tons of donated food and goods in the rain.

They amaze me!

(I always suggest you widen your browser to the max in order to enjoy the photos fully.)

3. I’m off!

By the time you read this, I’ll be heading to the Boston airport to catch a flight to Amsterdam, before transferring to a Belavia flight to Minsk.

Come with me! Bring your friends!

Well, not in person, of course. Short notice, I know :-)

But you can join me through the miracle of the World Wide Web.

From our flat on Karl Marx Street, I’ll post photo reports

Please share them, forward them, urge your friends to go to NewThing.net/feed and sign up to get the photo reports themselves!

Thanks for journeying with us!

Much love,

Doug Brendel
