What does it really mean?
It’s a picture of your love, when you give to New Thing.
You help provide gifts — not to mention basic meds and supplies — for children with disabilities in Osipovichi, Belarus.
But there’s something else about this photo.
These are the children left behind.
Dozens of children call this boarding school “home,” but on holidays, most have relatives or friends to go to.
These five children have no one ... except for the dedicated caregivers at the boarding school.
This Christmas, you were there for them, in spirit.
You gave gifts of love.
You said, I remember you.
Friends of New Thing have been helping the children of Osipovichi for years.
I remember when Gairman, at left, and Tatiana, the blonde girl in the middle, were tiny!
They’re getting all grown up!
And as they grow, they know they’re loved.
