One boo-boo is all it takes to wish you had a band-aid.
Here’s a band-aid. That’s all you want to say.
But you can’t. There’s no band-aid.
For the boarding school at Osipovichi, in Belarus.
Every Thanksgiving, it’s our New Thing tradition to provide a year’s worth of basic meds and supplies.
So the caregivers there can help the 82 children with physical and mental disabilities in their care.
We’ve been there for them every year, for 7 years.
This year, because of politics, the director thought we couldn’t, or wouldn’t, help again.
I said yes. Trusting you’d say yes too.
It will take $5000 to provide a year’s worth of meds and supplies for the children at Osipovichi.
A friend has graciously offered to match any gift you give today, dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $2500.
The impact of your generosity will be doubled. Your love will go twice as far.
So I hope you’ll give as generously as possible.
They don’t do our Thanksgiving in Belarus...
But I know they’ll be giving thanks in Osipovichi, for the gift you give today.
God bless you for your compassion!
Much love,
Doug Brendel
