I hear people say “It’s all good,” and of course, not everything is.
It seems there’s a lot of bad in our world.
But I’m grateful that we have a chance to do good every day.
Five years ago today, something really good was happening.
Children and teens with disabilities from Dzerzhinsk, Belarus, were having the time of their lives.
Friends of New Thing gave to send them to summer camp for one glorious week.
A visit from clowns, and zoo animals for petting, and dancing, and food...
Even today, 5 years later, they remember the joy of it.
I just came across my original photo report from that week.
It made me smile so much, I decided to share it with you.
God bless all who do good, whatever shape that may take.
